WEDDINGS
FAQ
1. How far in advance should we book you?
Most couples book 9–12 months ahead, especially for popular summer dates. If your wedding is sooner, still reach out — there’s always a chance your date is available.
2. Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. While I’m based in Christchurch, I often travel across New Zealand and internationally. Travel costs are tailored depending on location.
3. What is your photography style?
My approach blends documentary storytelling with timeless portraiture. I capture candid, in-between moments as well as elegant, guided portraits that reflect your connection.
4. How many photos will we receive?
For a full-day wedding, you can expect between 600–900 professionally edited, high-resolution images. Each gallery is carefully curated to tell the full story of your day.
5. How long will it take to receive our photos?
Your full gallery will be delivered within 6–8 weeks. I also provide a “sneak peek” of highlights within the first week.
6. Do you offer albums and prints?
Yes — I create heirloom-quality albums and fine art prints that can be added to your package or ordered after the wedding. These become treasured keepsakes for generations.
7. What happens if it rains?
Some of the most romantic images are made in the rain. I’ll work with you to adjust plans, and I always scout backup locations. A little weather never stops beautiful storytelling.
8. Do you work with a second photographer?
Yes. For larger weddings or when couples want coverage from multiple perspectives (like both getting-ready locations), I often bring in a trusted second photographer.
9. How do we secure our date?
A signed contract and a booking deposit confirm your date. From there, I’ll guide you through planning your photography timeline.
10. We’re awkward in front of the camera — can you help?
Absolutely. Most of my couples say this before their wedding! I’ll gently guide you when needed, but my goal is to help you relax, laugh, and forget about the camera so your photos feel authentic.
